Pokedex entries: Honedge's soul once belonged to a person who was killed a long time ago by the sword that makes up Honedge's body. It attaches itself to people and drinks their life force. When Honedge evolves, it divides into two swords, which cooperate via telepathy. The complex attack patterns of its two swords are unstoppable, even for an opponent greatly accomplished at swordplay.

Need's on the large side for a Doublade, with the crescent hilts on the prominent side. Her blades and hilts are pristine, but her tassel-arms are quite worn and soft, and her wall crest has been through it. It's weathered and bears multiple scars? let's call them scars. Most prominent is an off-center stab mark on the wall mount just under the crossed scabbards, which goes all the way through to the other side. The opening is burnt.

She's wrapped her hilts in strips of bluish cloth. That and how she holds herself are the main 'tells' that this is Need. She's usually found with one sword hilted, the other out so it can turn to scan and check behind her. When she floats she doesn't bob as if walking but glides as if pulled. If she's not using them her tassel-arms hang limp, and she can be very very still at times.

  There's a great deal of sexual assault and suicide in Need's canon. She did also deliberately kill herself in order to become something stronger, and has spent several thousand years rescuing/healing/avenging/Not Letting Them Get Away With It. In canon she can be quite casual about discussing dark topics, but given that she's also sometimes unnecessarily secretive she's absolutely not putting that on the table. If she talks about any of this it's either very vaguely or in response to hearing someone talk about something similar.
