ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: It's Complicated
BRACKETS/PROSE: I prefer prose but I can do either!
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: I'm good, generally.

IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: If it's not reciprocated she won't like it, if it is she's entirely down and loves physical contact.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Go ahead, fight the seventy-year-old. Surely that can only go well. ...She actually is quite strong and skilled and loves fighting, but she runs out of steam quickly.
RELATIONSHIPS: Any shipping would have to be with an appropriate character, and they'd have to have good friend-chemistry as well. I'm generally happy with platonic interaction.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: She is very very psychic, can keep you out of her head, and knows if you've tried to look. As Need, if she doesn't hide it she's got a formidable and strange psychic presence, a sense of great power carefully held back as it regards you in turn. You may get a sense of huge jaws or brilliant wings, and of an old, inhuman aspect.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: She is very magic but has it carefully locked down. As Need, if she doesn't hide it than to magic senses she's a beacon, a lighthouse beam.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: She's got a lot of scars, most of them old, and is a form of transfeminine.

As Lashan, she's mostly in good condition but her joints often bother her and she fatigues easily.

As Need she is long dead, and any human form is made of spirit particles compressed and functioning more or less like a human body.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: The big one about Need's past is suicide, as she ritually killed herself to preserve her consciousness in a different form. I may bring that up. She's sensitized to people (mostly women) in similarly dire straits, so her post-death career has involved a lot of people in terrible situations and a lot of murder.

Velgarth is sometimes a rather dark fantasy world with heavy misogyny, and the author Mercedes Lackey likes to write extremely sadistic rapist villains for characters like Need to cut down. Most of her bearers have been survivors. If I have Need tell stories about these characters that brush against that topic I'll have her decide not to spell things out and just say that someone hurt or attacked the subject of the story, it may be canon typical but I'm not writing for 1980s sword-and-sorceress anthologies here.

As for what she finds triggering:
The Patriarchy (tm). Need is set off by violence against women and general abuse of them (and of queer people as a general category). Any time someone with power thinks they can use and discard someone with total impunity, too.

OUT OF CHARACTER

BACKTAGGING: Yes!
THREADHOPPING: Yes!
FOURTHWALLING: No thanks!
NOT INTERESTED IN:

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: Six foot three, weathered brown skin with a lot of wrinkles and old scars, black eyes, gray hair. She's powerfully built and takes a short sword with her everywhere she goes.
AURAL: Her voice is on the low side and gravelly.
OLFACTORY: Not much scent, her simulacrum of a human body has left out certain things. Metal, probably, a suggestion of smoke and seared flesh.
DEMEANOUR: Watchful, reserved, thoughtful, often annoyed or amused or both. She has a strong character but it's not hard to tell there is kindness to her.
